Stosowanie tabletek antykoncepcyjnych w sposób ciągły przez 2 cykle z rzędu z pominięciem przerwy na krwawienie z odstawienia zwiększa prawdopodobieństwo wystąpienia krwawień lub plamień w okresie stosowania tabletek z drugiego opakowania. Takie postępowanie nie wpływa jednak na skuteczność samej antykoncepcji ani nie jest uznawane za szkodliwe dla zdrowia.
