Poziom beta hCG poniżej 5 mIU/ml oznacza, że kobieta nie spodziewa się dziecka. Z kolei wynik beta hCG powyżej 5 mIU/ml potwierdza ciążę. U kobiety będącej już w ciąży niski poziom gonadotropiny kosmówkowej może wskazywać na poronienie lub ciążę pozamaciczną. Ostatecznie ciążę lub jej brak należy potwierdzić u lekarza ginekologa, jeśli wciąż ma Pani wątpliwości, radziłabym takie rozwiązanie dla spokoju ducha.
