To @Anna: EllaOne contains a different active substance than Escapelle. EllaOne contains ulipristal acetate, which has a high affinity for the progesterone receptor and may interfere with the progestagenic component of hormonal contraceptives and thus weaken their effectiveness. Escapelle contains levonorgestrel which has no such effect.
And why escapelle does not affect and ellaone affects birth control pills?

Produkt ellaOne może tymczasowo zmniejszyć skuteczność zażywanych regularnie środków antykoncepcyjnych, takich jak pigułki. W przypadku stosowania antykoncepcji hormonalnej należy kontynuować jej zażywanie w sposób normalny po zażyciu ellaOne, jednak należy stosować prezerwatywy podczas każdego stosunku płciowego do czasu kolejnego cyklu miesiączkowego.
Escapelle nie wpływa na skuteczność zażywanej antykoncepcji.
