Nimesil should not be used as the first choice for fever. It is usually used to treat acute pain, after consulting a doctor and as short as possible. This drug is characterized by a higher risk of side effects compared to popular antipyretics, e.g. based on paracetamol or ibuprofen. Therefore, it should not be used for fever.
