The active substances contained in saffron extract can enhance the effect of antidepressants, because - like antidepressants - they affect serotonin uptake. Taking both preparations at the same time may cause a risk of side effects, including symptoms of serotonin syndrome (temperature increase, confusion, concentration disorders). For this reason, I do not recommend taking both preparations at the same time.
