Hello,
I've been on slinda for almost a year. I had a forgotten during week 3 of the intake. I took 2 pills at the same time and followed up by skipping the placebos as indicated in the leaflet. Since the day of the forgetfulness I have had heavy bleeding (super plus tampon filled in 2 hours and presence of blood clot), before taking the pill I had heavy periods +++ but it's the first time with this pill, it's been 5 days of intensive bleeding, is this normal?

You have followed the instructions in the leaflet (taking the overdue dose and skipping the placebo tablets), but the bleeding scale you describe – the need to change the absorbent hygiene product every 2 hours and the presence of clots – is beyond the typical withdrawal spotting. Saliva is a single-component preparation that often causes irregular bleeding, but such a high intensity with a year, so far stable use of the drug, is an alarm signal.
With such heavy blood loss, there is a risk of weakness or anaemia, so you should immediately consult a gynaecologist to rule out other causes (e.g. uterine fibroids or polyps) that could have caused such a strong reaction with additional hormonal fluctuations. Do not stop taking tablets from your current blister until your appointment unless your doctor tells you otherwise.
