The doctor prescribed Slinda for migraines after Ginoring, but I feel bad after them - will it pass?
9.99 zł

I have been using Ginoring for several years. During the breaks, I had migraines. My gynaecologist prescribed me Slinda single-component pills. My headache stopped, but I'm already taking the 4th blister and I'm still gaining weight, my skin and hair are much worse, I have dandruff, pimples on my back. Will all this pass or should I move on to something else?

Migraine headaches are a contraindication to the use of combined hormonal contraception (risk of thrombotic changes). Slinda may cause these side effects. There are other single-component contraceptive pills, but their mechanism of action is similar, so there is a risk of similar side effects. You can discuss with your gynaecologist the possibility of using other methods of contraception, such as an intrauterine device with a small amount of locally released hormone or a copper coil (containing no hormones at all).

In case of any doubts, I encourage you to use the teleconsultation with a gynaecologist - the service is available on our website in the e-visit tab:
