Before using kudzu preparations with hypertension medications and anticoagulants, you should consult your doctor.

There are reports of interaction of kudzu with hypertension drugs (e.g. Amlopin, Bisocard) excessively lowering blood pressure, which we wrote about in the opinion:

Kudzu may increase the effect of anticoagulants (such as Eliquis), which may increase the risk of excessive bleeding.
