Hello, I took Ellaone about 12 hours after unprotected intercourse, after 3 hours from taking it I defecated normally, is it still effective?

EllaOne, an emergency contraceptive pill containing ulipristal, is effective for up to 120 hours (5 days) after unprotected sex or failure of the contraceptive method.
Having a bowel movement 3 hours after taking ellaOne should not affect its effectiveness, unless it was a bowel movement in the form of diarrhoea. A standard bowel movement does not affect the absorption of the drug in the body.
