I got the order of the pills wrong and took the placebo by mistake - how to use Vibin now and is its effectiveness impaired?

I got the birth control pill wrong order. I started a new blister. I took one yellow one and the next day I took the white one by mistake. Has this already interfered with protection and how should I apply it now?
What if you had sex on the day of the mistake?

Taking a placebo tablet instead of an active one should be treated as a missed dose. The effectiveness of contraception may be impaired and the procedure described in this leaflet should be followed:

Week 1:
"If you remember to miss a dose, take the last forgotten tablet immediately, even if it means taking two tablets at the same time. The next tablets should be taken at the usual time. In addition, you should also use barrier contraception, such as condoms, for the next 7 days. If you have had intercourse in the previous 7 days, the possibility of pregnancy should be taken into account. The more tablets you miss and the shorter the time interval between when you miss them and when you take placebo tablets, the higher your risk of getting pregnant."

Taking into account the situation, I suggest that you consult a gynaecologist about the possible need for emergency contraception.

In case of any doubts, it is possible to make an appointment with a gynaecologist on our website:
