Does vomiting less than 3-4 hours after taking the contraceptive pill reduce its effectiveness?
Hello, I've been taking coc yarin plus for half a year now, everything was fine. But last week I fell ill with rotavirus and after 5 days of treatment, spotting appeared. There was a day when I vomited an hour after taking the pill.
Tell me, maybe the pills were not absorbed, that's why there was such a reaction? And is it necessary to protect yourself with additional contraception? Thank you!

Vomiting less than 3-4 hours after taking the contraceptive pill reduces its effectiveness.
The correct course of action, including the need for additional contraception, is described in the package leaflet and depends on the number of the vomited tablet.
