Gabapentin is a sucker and I can only warn. Makes nasty side effects even at low doses of 100 mg. In addition, it is extremely harmful in conjunction with tramadol ,and knocked my socks off. I can only advise everyone to get a different medication prescribed.

I think it's negligent to advise against a drug like that!! I know about the side effects, but they are always individual and cannot be generalized. I have a PnP and suffer a lot from the severe pain. I've only been taking it for 1 week now, the pain has already gotten much better. It's worth it to me. I'm careful, but I just can't live with this pain anymore.
Hello I feel the same way, I first had gabapentin and now pregabalin. What are you doing now giving up your pain. I had a herniated disc in 2023 with periformis, because of which I got polyneuropathy. I would be happy about your feedback
I agree, I take it short, now I feel such a great pain in my bones that I can't walk, or I crumble with my hands
Anxiety,Anxiety, insomnia
This is torture

Thank you for sharing your case.
Side effects of drugs - including gabapentin - may or may not occur. This is an individual matter. Just because gabapentin has caused you unpleasant side effects doesn't mean it will be the same for everyone else. Doctors prescribe medications to help patients and use their best knowledge and experience to select the medication according to the individual's symptoms. You can read more about it here:

Combining certain drugs together can indeed cause interactions and increase or appearance of side effects of the therapy. There is an interaction between gabapentin and tramadol that is described as very significant. The combination of these medicines carries risks and should only be done on the express order and supervision of a doctor:
