If I start taking Vibin pills a few days before my period, will the bleeding be stopped?

I was prescribed Vibin pills, the doctor recommended that I start using it on the first day of menstruation, please let me know if I start using it a few days before menstruation will the bleeding be stopped?

The tablets should be started on the first day of bleeding so that contraception is effective. The Summary of Product Characteristics does not take into account the start of the pack in the middle of the cycle or in the second half of the cycle. Taking the pill not as prescribed may cause side effects such as spotting/mid-cycle bleeding and reduce contraceptive effectiveness.
