I've read similar questions before, but I'm wondering about the answers. Does the antidepressant asertin in different doses reduce the effectiveness of hormonal contraception (in my case, axia conti (0.02 + 3mg)? But will it be preserved? In responses, doctors and pharmacists maintain that there will be no interaction and protection against pregnancy is preserved, but add that it has not been studied whether these drugs have an effect on each other. Why, then, does it come to say that protection against pregnancy is preserved?

Drug interactions are complex and not always fully understood, especially when it comes to combining drugs prescribed by doctors of different specialties.
Significant interactions are not expected with antidepressants such as Aseertin and contraceptives such as Axia Conti when used. Asertin, as an antidepressant, has an effect on serotonin reuptake in the brain. It does not affect the female hormone system.
