Is bleeding that lasts 9 days after starting Daylette a cause for concern?

Due to the spotting between cycles, the doctor prescribed me the drug Daylette. I've been taking the pills for 9 days and I still haven't run out of periods. Is it normal for the first pack to bleed for so long? When should I be concerned?

At the beginning of the contraceptive pill, many women experience bleeding disorders, such as irregular or prolonged bleeding. The body needs time to "adapt" to the hormonal changes that occur under the influence of the hormones contained in birth control pills. This period usually lasts about 3 months.
