When using Dimia contraceptive pills (drospirenone + ethinylestradiol, 24+4), withdrawal bleeding usually begins 2-3 days after the start of taking placebo pills and lasts about 5 days.

When using birth control pills, there is no typical menstruation, but withdrawal bleeding caused by a break in taking hormones (taking placebo pills that do not contain active substances).
