Can alcohol somehow weaken the effect of the Escapelle tablet? Should I take another pill?
Hello, on Thursday (13.07) around midnight I took an Escapelle tablet, which is about 3 hours after intercourse, during which the condom broke. On Friday (14.07) I was at a birthday party and I drank about 2 glasses of vodka and some Wisky with Coke, so it was about 20 hours since I took the Escapelle table when I drank alcohol. Can this somehow weaken the effect of the tablet? Should I take another Escapelle pill on Saturday 15.07??? I'm terribly afraid because with the boy we are not ready to be parents yet, please help and advice what to do

No, do not take two pills even if you are very concerned about your pregnancy, as this may be dangerous to your health and not a lower risk of conception. Drinking alcohol immediately after taking Escapelle is not recommended, as it may irritate the digestive system, stomach and contribute to nausea and vomiting, possibly diarrhoea, which result in the removal of the medicine from the body and thus minimise its effects. Since you waited almost a day to drink alcohol, this fact should no longer affect the operation of Escapelle.
