Can birth control pills delay your period?

Good morning I used drovelis tablets, later they were changed to activia daily. At some point with drovelis, my period was 20 days late, so I decided to change the tablets. Now with new tablets I am already 18 days late or tablets can delay the period

When using birth control pills such as Drovelis or Atywia Daily, there is no physiological menstruation on the date "from the calendar", but the so-called "withdrawal bleeding", which usually begins on the 2nd or 3rd day after the last active hormone pill. In the case of these commercial preparations, it should start taking placebo tablets. Therefore, I do not fully understand what you mean by writing that when using tablets you "late" your period. Does withdrawal bleeding not occur at all? In some patients it is possible, but then the correctness and regularity of the use of the drug should be verified first and make sure that the absence of bleeding is not caused by pregnancy. I enclose additional information about the drug and our studies that may be helpful: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/92353/atywia-daily-tabletki-powlekane/apteki https://www.gdziepolek.pl/opinie-i-pytania/12678/atywia-jak-prawidlowo-stosowac-tabletki-antykoncepcyjne-atywia-daily https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-prawidlowo-stosowac-antykoncepcje
