Will the tablets lose their validity after storing them in a cosmetic bag in a backpack?

Hello, Recently I had to take birth control pills with me, I stored the pills in the original box and put them in the cosmetic bag, which I additionally put in the backpack. It was about 22 degrees outside, but the sun's rays had no way to get inside the backpack. Is protection against pregnancy provided or should I buy another pack.
