Can I suddenly stop Pramolan?

I take for about 6-7 weeks Pramolan. He takes the smallest possible dose, i.e. 50mg - once a day (in the evening). So there is no smaller dose, and the tablet is not divisible. So can I stop taking the drug right away, overnight? Or possibly take every second or third evening for a while? Does that make sense. I ask you, because the doctor will be unavailable for a long time (he is on some health stay in a sanatorium) and one more question: can the drug cause weight gain, weight gain? I have to stop taking it because I have an allergy (rash) in the form of urticaria after this medicine. I mean, it seems to me that it's after the drug, because more or less I have hives since taking the drug, and I have not changed anything in the diet.

Discontinuation of Pramolan should be done gradually by slowly reducing the dose. Abrupt discontinuation should be avoided as this may cause withdrawal symptoms. Discontinuation of the drug should be carried out under medical supervision and as directed by a doctor. We wrote more about stopping Pramolan in the following thread: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/opinie-i-pytania/50744/pramolan-jak-dlugo-utrzymuja-sie-skutki-uboczne-po-odstawieniu-pramolanu-50mg
