Why does it take 12-15 weeks or more for a pharmacy (wholesaler) to import Elvanse (any dose and 3/4 packages) to a pharmacy (wholesaler)?

What is the rationale for this? The drug is probably imported from Germany, where there is no problem with the availability of this drug in wholesalers and 3-4 packages is a small order. Nowadays, courier shipments from Germany go to Polish in 1-2 business days.

Do all medicines available only for targeted imports require such a long waiting time?
