Metformin contained in Etform should not affect the effectiveness of hormonal contraception (or at least the manufacturer of this drug does not indicate the risk of such an interaction), but there are reports of a possible need to modify the dose of metformin to maintain its proper functioning. If you have the impression that Etform works too poorly, it is advisable to consult a doctor.
