Taking ellaOne is not a contraindication to the continuation of permanent hormonal contraception with Yaz tablets, however, it may reduce the contraceptive effect. You can continue to take Yaz normally, but until the next menstrual cycle, i.e. withdrawal bleeding, it is recommended to use a mechanical method of contraception, e.g. a condom. Withdrawal bleeding resembling menstruation should occur as before, 3-4 days after taking the last tablet. Please note that EllaOne is an emergency contraceptive method intended to be used to prevent pregnancy after unprotected sexual intercourse or when the contraceptive method used has failed. If you take birth control pills regularly, according to the scheme, the use of emergency contraception is not needed.
