How to switch from one contraceptive to another?

Hello, previously I took sibilla tablets 21 + 7 now I changed the tablets to maitalon 30 21 + 7, whether the new tablets should be taken immediately after the "period" of withdrawal and whether during 1 week I should use additional contraception.

New tablets (Maitalon) should be started after a 7-day break due to discontinuation or placebo tablets. From what I see, Sibilla has 7 such tablets, so we use them for 7 days. We start using the new preparation as if it was another package of a contraceptive drug. There is no need for additional contraception if you use a new preparation after 7 days. The effectiveness will be preserved. We have prepared some interesting articles about contraception: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/antykoncepcja-hormonalna https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-prawidlowo-stosowac-antykoncepcje https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jakie-leki-oslabiaja-skutecznosc-antykoncepcji https://www.gdziepolek.pl/blog/historia-antykoncepcji-metody-zapobiegania-ciazy-kiedys-i-dzis If something is unclear, please ask.
