Do I need to use additional contraception if my Nuvaring disc is out for about 1 hour?
Good morning I put on a new Nuvaring album on January 11 (Wednesday), today (January 16; Monday) during intercourse my puck fell out for a maximum of an hour, because I can not determine at what point it happened. I washed the disc under running water and put it back on. Does this situation threaten to weaken the contraceptive protection of the disc? Should I use additional emergency contraception because of this situation? Should I have an additional contraception in the form of condoms for some time?

Since the disc has been outside the vagina for less than 3 hours, the protection is maintained and there is no need for additional contraception in the form of a condom. You did the right thing.
