Is it possible to shorten the number of active tablets using Vines to speed up bleeding?

Good morning. Can I take less active (yellow) pills and then placebo tablets with Vines hormonal contraception at one time so that withdrawal bleeding occurs earlier? If so, how many days of missed active tablets would be acceptable?

It is not recommended to shorten the use of yellow tablets - active to accelerate withdrawal bleeding. There are no studies that determine "how many pills missed" will not affect the effectiveness of contraception. If you do not want the bleeding to occur at a given time, a much safer option will be to skip placebo tablets (4 white) and start another pack. Tailoring will occur only after the end of this second package. This is safe and does not affect the effectiveness of contraception. More about Vines.
