How to switch from combined contraceptive pills to vaginal ring?

Good morning. I have been taking birth control pills for 8 years, including Leverette pills for the last 4 years. On the doctor's recommendation, I change my contraceptive method to NuvaRing, but I was supposed to apply the disc on the day the first placebo tablet would fall. That is, after 21 days of taking active pills, I did not take a placebo tablet anymore, but I applied NuvaRing, so that I would not have withdrawal bleeding this month. Do I have contraceptive protection after wearing NuvaRing? I used birth control pills correctly.

In the case described in the question, protection against pregnancy is maintained at all times. There is no need for an additional mechanical method of contraception. You can read more about contraceptive rings in the text: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/kategorie/krazki-dopochwowe Below is also a link that allows you to track the availability and booking of NuvaRing in any pharmacy of your choice: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/55364/nuvaring-przyrzad/apteki/w-polsce
