Taking half a contraceptive pill does not provide a protective effect. The drug will not work properly when it comes to contraception, i.e. it will not help to avoid unwanted pregnancy. After all, the supply of even a small amount of hormones - half a tablet has an effect on the body - hormones have been supplied (although in a small dose), but they can exert an effect, e.g. cause spotting, bleeding or side effects characteristic of contraceptive drugs. If your doctor has recommended this type of practice, e.g. to improve the appearance of the skin, regulate menstruation, etc. and has experience in this type of practice, please follow the recommendations of a specialist.
