Good morning I am after pregnancy and I started using birth control pills for the first time. After leaving the gynecologist a few hours later, I got bleeding and waited until the next day to make sure that it was menstruation. Immediately the next day I took the first pill and used additional contraception for a week. Did I make the mistake of starting with the first pill?

It is usually acceptable to start taking birth control pills from the 2nd to the 5th day of menstruation. In this case, for the first 7 days of taking the pills, it is recommended to use an additional method of contraception, e.g. a condom (as you did). So you did not make a mistake in taking the pills.
