What should I do with the missed tablets if I buy Vibin after more than 3-4 days?

Good morning, what to do if more than 3-4 contraceptive pills are missed? My gynecologist has gone on vacation and I have no way to get a prescription. During intercourse, I additionally protect myself with a condom (always), so I am not afraid of pregnancy, but only of possible side effects associated with a few days break from contraception. What to do with the missed tablets?

You did not give the name of the medicine in the question. If your question concerns Vibin, which is tagged, please read on. After purchasing a new pack of Vibin, please start using vibin tablet 1 tablet without skipping. You can also wait until the next menstruation and then resume using the drug. Already in case of omission of more than 1 contraceptive pill, when starting a new package, it is recommended to use an additional contraceptive method. The longer the break, the greater the risk of side effects, such as spotting or mid-cycle bleeding. In addition, you can assume that the tablets will be effective only from the next package: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/82280/vibin-tabletki-powlekane/apteki More about how to use contraception correctly, we wrote in the article: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-prawidlowo-stosowac-antykoncepcje
