Are mid-cycle spotting and the absence of withdrawal bleeding a cause for concern?

When using the first pack of vibin mini contraceptive pills, spotting persisted most days, and during the placebo pills there was no bleeding, the ratio during the first pack was additionally with a condom after two weeks of taking the pills. Is there any risk of pregnancy and I had to wait longer?

Bleeding or spotting in the interim cycle may occur during the initial period of use of contraceptive pills. This is due to hormonal changes occurring in the body under the influence of hormonal contraception. This period, often called the adaptation period, usually lasts up to the first 3 months of tablet use. Spotting from withdrawal does not have to occur in every cycle. Its absence in a single cycle, as long as the tablets were used as prescribed, does not necessarily be a cause for concern. If in the next cycle the situation repeats itself, please consult a gynecologist. Considering that during the intercourse you mention, 2 methods of contraception (condom and contraceptive pills) were used, the probability of getting pregnant is very small.
