What should I do if I missed 16 tablets of Microgynon 21?
Hi I have been taking Microgynon 21 tablets for several years. I missed the 16th tablet in up to 24 hours, had intercourse and then took the forgotten pill. Is there a risk of getting pregnant and should I finish the pack, not take a 7-day break and start packing? Will there be bleeding then?

If you took the pills correctly for the 7 days preceding the missed dose, contraceptive protection may be maintained. To do this, complete the current packaging, skip the break and start a new pack of tablets right away. Until all tablets from the second pack are taken, withdrawal bleeding will not occur, however spotting or midcyclic bleeding may occur.
