Good morning, I have a question related to the lack of birth control pills. I take the tablets around 9-10 in the morning, today I took it at 6 pm but this is not a cause for concern, taking the tablet I choked on it and coughed it on my hand then I took it and swallowed it again and drank water, I had a yellow spot from the tablet on my hand. Has the protection been maintained or should I apply any protective measures for the next week? If it is important, it is the 3rd week and the 3rd day of packaging. Thank you very much in advance for your help.

Protection against pregnancy has been maintained and you do not have to protect yourself additionally. Most contraceptive pills are coated pills, the yellow color is probably a fragment of the shell, e.g. iron oxide. The described situation should not affect the action of the tablet.
