What type of contraception to choose during chemotherapy?
I am after chemotherapy, does it affect its effect? In a year I have to replace the insert because its deadline is running out.

Chemotherapy does not affect the effectiveness of the contraceptive device. Choosing the right method of contraception in patients treated with oncology should take into account the type of cancer - e.g. in women treated for breast cancer or suffering from cancer diseases that promote blood clotting disorders, hormonal methods of contraception may not be recommended. Most often, it is recommended to use copper intrauterine devices that do not contain hormones.
