Can I skip the Orlifiqe placebo tablets? What are the consequences?

Good morning! :) Every day I take Orlifique 21+7 contraceptive pills. Unfortunately, withdrawal bleeding is supposed to start during a holiday trip, and this is the last thing I would like to worry about :( After finishing the active tablets from one pack, can I skip the placebo tablets and go straight to the next pack to avoid bleeding? Is there any consequences during the next bleeding? Will protection against pregnancy be maintained all the time due to the uninterrupted supply of hormones? Best regards.

Yes, you can skip the placebo pills and contraceptive protection will be preserved. However, it should be borne in mind that when taking active tablets from the next package, spotting and mid-cycle bleeding may occur - so there is no certainty that you will avoid bleeding during a holiday trip. Subsequent withdrawal bleeding will occur about 2-3 days after taking the last active tablet.
