Good morning, I have a copper IUD on for a year, before putting it on I used belara. Since putting on the IUD, I have had long and very intense menstruation, so when I saw that in July the period falls on my vacation, I decided to return to the pills for 2 months and take them continuously. I am currently finishing the first package and as soon as I started taking it I have spotting. I wonder if everything is fine, my goal was to avoid the period and I'm afraid that I will have 2 months of spotting for it ...

In the first place, it would be worth consulting a gynecologist and making sure that the IUD is applied correctly and that there are no changes in the reproductive organs. If the test does not show anything - there is no reason to worry and spotting should disappear during the next cycle of use of tablets. Perhaps when you previously used pills, the start of therapy was also accompanied by spotting?
