Hello, I have been using Nuvaring for a year. For the first time I have such a situation that I go on a long journey of a few days and I can not have menstruation then and that's when it comes out to misfortune. I wanted to ask myself whether in this case it is better to remove the disc a week earlier or immediately after the end of 21 days immediately put another one? Thank you in advance for your help.

In order for the protection to be preserved, it is necessary to change the disc to a new one after 3 weeks, without taking a break for bleeding. Removing the disc in week 2 will reduce the protection and the agent will not work properly. Nevertheless, it should also be taken into account that despite the omission of the bleeding break - during the next cycle there may be slight spotting or mid-cycle bleeding.
