For @Doris: Venlectine often causes a decrease in appetite, but this is not always associated with weight loss. Salmex can be used by taking Venlectine and Mirtor.

The simultaneous use of preparations with mirtazapine (the active ingredient of Mirtor) and venlafaxine (the active ingredient of Venlectine) may cause an excessive increase in serotonin levels in the brain. This threatens the occurrence of rare but serious disorders referred to as serotonin syndrome. Some of its symptoms are fever, sweating, increased heart rate, diarrhea, (uncontrollable) muscle spasms, chills, increased reflexes, anxiety, mood swings, loss of consciousness. If these drugs have been prescribed by different doctors, it is necessary to consult whether the drugs are to be used simultaneously. Perhaps the recommendations regarding the method of their administration will be changed. If your medication has been prescribed by the same doctor, it is important that you follow the dosage regimen. If you notice any side effects, please contact your doctor immediately. User questions and answers that provide feedback about products are not verified for the purchase or use of the product. Companies often order anonymous comments to form positive opinions about their products, or negative ones about competitors. Therefore, be guided by the information in the pharmacists' responses in the first place.
