Is it normal to have spotting before bleeding from discontinuation of birth control pills after one year of use?
Hello. Have been taking birth control pills for more than a year or are spotting three days before your period normal? I will add that I use the solarium or could it speed up menstruation?

To @Magda: Such spotting often precedes more intense bleeding and is not a cause for concern. This does not mean that the contraceptive effect is impaired.
What if spotting a day or two before withdrawal bleeding occurs with Vibin contraceptive pills? Bleeding is at 4 tablets placebo and spotting at 2/3. I did not skip any tablet, I did not vomit or diarrhea and I did not take any medication. Only in the 3rd week I took an additional contraceptive pill, because I choked when taking the first one, but in the end I took the pill right afterwards. Could this spotting mean that the pills work worse?
