Hops do indeed have a small estrogenic effect, but in the available publications I do not find information that the extract of hop cones reduces the effectiveness of contraception. What's more, the content in beer of hop ingredients responsible for this action will be insignificant, so the consumption of beer will not adversely affect contraceptive therapy.
