Does Advantan ointment weaken the effect of contraceptive pills?
Hi I was assigned advantan ointment today and I forgot to ask if I can use it together with Drovelis tablets. Won't this weaken their actions?

The active substance of Advantan ointment - methylprednisolone when applied to the skin to a small extent penetrates into the systemic circulation. Therefore, this medicine does not interact with clinically relevant oral medicines, such as birth control pills.
