Good morning. I use Vines birth control pills. Recently, i got herpes in my middle mouth. I bought Compeed patches. Can they weaken the effect of contraception?

According to the Vines Summary of Product Characteristics, Compeed herpes patches do not impair the contraceptive effect and can therefore be used safely. I will add that oral antiviral drugs used to treat herpes also do not interact with Vines tablets.
