Can getting sick with coronavirus infection cause a delay in withdrawal bleeding?

Can the coronavirus affect the delay of the period? I take Vibin tablets. At the end of the third week, I fell ill with covid. This was accompanied by vomiting (but only 11 hours after taking the tablet), fever and general weakness of the body. I also ate very little at that time. The bleeding always started on my third placebo tablet, which hasn't happened now. During the cycle, I did not forget about any tablet. Is it possible that my health condition is delaying my period? What should I do?

When using birth control pills, there is no ordinary menstruation, but only withdrawal bleeding (as a result of a decrease in hormone levels while taking placebo pills or a break), the abundance and time of onset of which can also be influenced by factors such as stress or illness. If you took the tablets correctly, the probability of pregnancy is negligible and it is likely that bleeding will occur with a delay. In case of doubt, you can take a pregnancy test available at the pharmacy: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/test-ciazowy-jaki-wybrac-i-kiedy-zrobic
