Does the occurrence of bleeding in the middle of the cycle weaken the effectiveness of contraceptive pills?

Hello, since November I started using Vines always at a fixed time, without missing any tablet, in January with the 12th tablet there were bleedings that lasted more than a week, in March I got bleeding on the 18th tablet and it lasted 4 days, does this mean that I should change the tablets, is the protection preserved?

Mid-cycle bleeding and spotting are common side effects of birth control pills that do not affect the effectiveness of contraception. Especially that it has not been even half a year since you started using the tablets, such activities are normal and probably in the future they will disappear or will occur sporadically, e.g. in situations of increased stress. Do not worry or change the tablets at the moment. If the midcyclic bleeding is repeated and does not go away in the coming months, it is worth reporting it to your gynecologist.
