Can a score of 0.2 mean early pregnancy if I have my period in 6 days?

Good morning. In about 6 days I should get my period. My husband and I are trying to have a baby and today I did a Beta HCG test whether a score of 0.2 can mean an early pregnancy? I will add that my breasts hurt, my nipples are sensitive and the vaginal discharge is larger than usual. Is it necessary to repeat the result on the day of menstruation?

You did not specify the units, and the standard is always given on the result from the laboratory. However, a score of 0.2 seems to be very low and does not indicate pregnancy. Generally, according to the standard of many laboratories, a result below 5 mIU/ ml means that the woman is not pregnant. However, you may be doing the test too quickly. If you expect your period in 6 days, it means that ovulation probably took place about 8 days ago. It is difficult after such a time after ovulation and - as I understand it - intercourse, to answer for sure whether fertilization has occurred, because the time of 6-7 days from this event is the period in which the implantation of the embryo in the uterus can only take place.
