Does such a drug as venlaflaxin physically stimulate? Can it be compared to the action of bupropion which also improves physical conditions? The problem is that on bupropionie develops tolerance and its action weakly with time and whether on venlaflaxin this phenomenon also occurs or not? Alternatively, does combining moclobemide with venlaflaxin make sense if someone has a big problem with the drive and motivation? Best regards

The results of scientific studies indicate that the effect of venlafaxine on physical activity depends on the patient, in some people using this drug a stimulating effect was observed, in others a reduced physical activity was observed. In patients taking venlafaxine, no development of tolerance leading to a weakening of the effect of the drug with the duration of treatment was observed. The simultaneous use of venlafaxine and moclobemide is contraindicated. Simultaneous intake of both drugs can lead to the occurrence of life-threatening so-called serotonin syndrome. Between the use of these drugs it is necessary to maintain an interval of at least 7 days. The decision about this type of treatment, appropriate safety measures can only be made by a doctor.
