The use of 2 contraceptive pills in one day - does it affect the effectiveness of contraception?

Hello, I mistakenly took two tablets of Vines in one day. In the morning, as always and after returning from work, I confused the days and thought that today I did not take ... What should I do in such a situation? Does this reduce the effectiveness of contraception?

Taking 2 birth control pills in one day does not reduce the effectiveness of contraception. Please continue to use the tablets according to the scheme. The consequence of taking a double dose of hormones may be an increased risk of side effects, such as irregular bleeding or spotting. However, the effectiveness of contraception is preserved and there is no need for an additional mechanical method of contraception.
