Could slurption while drinking water have an effect on the effectiveness of the contraceptive pill?
Good morning, about 10 minutes after taking the contraceptive pill I drank water, but there was little of it so I slurped while sipping this water. Could this have affected the absorption of the tablet?

The situation described by you did not affect the effectiveness of the tablet and the protection is preserved. Contraceptive efficacy could only be reduced if vomiting or diarrhoea occurs within 3-4 hours of taking the pill.
