Am I protected from the first tablet of the second Vibin blister?
Hello, I am after the first pack of vibin contraceptive pills. I took 21 hormonal pills and 7 placebos. Tomorrow the first tablet of the second pack. Here comes my question: am I protected from the first tablet, i.e. from tomorrow? After all, it is already the 6-7th day of the cycle. In the leaflet or on the forum I did not find the answer. Thank you.

If you use Vibin regularly and correctly, which also includes the timely start of the next blister of vibrant medicine, which is also included in accordance with the leaflet, the declared protection against pregnancy is maintained all the time - both when using active tablets and when taking a placebo. The need for additional protection applies to some cases of taking the first pill too late (starting to use contraception as such) and situations related to the omission of the pill or others that may weaken the effectiveness of contraception. Currently, your "cycle" includes 21 active tablets and 7 placebo tablets. There will be no natural menstruation, but withdrawal bleeding. Counting the cycle from the day of the appearance of this bleeding - because I understand that this is what you mean by "6-7 day of the cycle" - is therefore conventional.
