Will bleeding with birth control pills actually be less?

I have had very abundant periods for several months. 2.3 days was a nightmare. Ultrasound okay, I got contraception. So far it's been the 12th day since I've been taking pills. I have brown spotting and my breasts hurt. However, I wonder what about the period with these tablets. Will it actually be smaller, or so far nothing will change because it will be the first bleeding from withdrawal?

Most likely, withdrawal bleeding will be different from regular menstruation, since it will not be "natural", but associated with an artificially induced decrease in the concentration of hormones supplied to the body along with the tablets. In most cases, bleeding when taking birth control pills is more modest, since the growth of the endometrium is limited. And it is its exfoliation that is responsible for bleeding. Ultimately, however, the body's response to the use of contraception is individual - you must assess for yourself how much the treatment will bring you relief.
